The 2011 Mountainside and Icehouse Pottery shows are over. It's time to start playing the mud in earnest. Hope you'll be back occasionally to see what's new for the 2012 shows! Thanks to you all who have come here to visit and especially to those who have stopped by a table or show to meet me and have a nice chat. I've got some new ideas from those chats and I'm looking forward to making a dent in the idea book.
Happy Whatever-the Holiday-you-celebrate. But from me - Merry Christmas! - because I think that everything that can be made right is folded into those words. Whether you believe in a jolly man who breaks into your house to eat cookies and leave tokens of love, or a baby who grew up to make a difference by doing what was right. Both of them were thinking of others first and that's what can fix the world.

Keep tea bags and sweetener packets handy
I know that I hate pulling out all kinds of boxes and bags just to make a nice cuppa - here's how I keep them handy - maybe other folks will like them too.

Next Show Announced!
I'll be at the Warwick Applefest on Sunday, October 2, 2011. Rain or shine. Look for "Fired Arts Collective" I'll be showing with my favourite group of potters!
I'm enjoying the preparation - berry bowls and sewing boxes and juicers and batter bowls and plain old bowls and candle jars and even jelly jars! It's going to be a wonderful day.
